HEALING RESOURCES & MODALITIES
TOOLS TO SUPPORT YOUR TRANSFORMATION
As you embark on your journey from simply surviving to radically thriving, you may find that different tools, techniques, and healing modalities resonate with you at different times. Just as I discovered on my own path, healing is not one-size-fits-all—it’s deeply personal, and I have greatly benefited from the expertise and support of others along the way.
Throughout my transformation, I have explored, trained in, and become certified in a variety of powerful, science-backed, and energetically aligned healing modalities that have profoundly impacted my ability to release past wounds, reconnect with my authentic self, and allow my light to shine—ultimately stepping into a life of joy, confidence, and freedom.
This section introduces you to some of these powerful methods-ones I’ve studied, practiced, and personally benefited from. Some of these techniques I am certified or trained in (noted after the heading), while others are included because they have played a meaningful role in my healing journey and have helped me empower the women I coach.
Take what resonates, explore with an open mind, and most importantly, trust yourself in finding what best supports your growth and transformation. NOTE: this list is updated periodically as links change, I learn of new modalities, and as they change.

MODALITIES I HAVE EXPERIENCED:
Floating in a sensory-deprivation tank filled with Epsom salt water reduces stress and anxiety, eases muscle tension, and promotes mental clarity. Studies show floating decreases cortisol and improves sleep. Feinstein, J. S., et al. (2018). The efficacy of Floatation-REST in the treatment of anxiety and depression. PLoS ONE, 13(2), e0190292. DOI:10.1371/journal.pone.0190292 Caution: Avoid if you have open wounds, ear infections, or severe claustrophobia.
Like float tanks, dry float beds allow deep relaxation without getting wet. They promote muscle recovery, improve circulation, and enhance mental clarity. Vogt, T., et al. (2011). Influence of a 20-minute resting period (dry flotation) on stress management and regeneration in men. Biological Psychology, 87(1), 105-111. DOI: 10.1016/j.biopsycho.2011.02.002 Caution: Not recommended for those with certain back injuries without medical advice.
Cold plunges can reduce inflammation, boost circulation, and improve mood by triggering endorphin release. They stimulate the vagus nerve, which supports stress regulation. Hof, W., & Jong, K. (2018). The Wim Hof method: Activate your full human potential. Sounds True. Caution: Start gradually, as cold exposure can cause shock for those with heart conditions.
Breathwork, the practice of controlled breathing techniques, has gained significant recognition for its ability to enhance mental and physical well-being. Scientific research supports its effectiveness in reducing stress, improving mood, and promoting overall health. A meta-analysis published in Scientific Reports examined the impact of breathwork on stress and mental health. The study concluded that breathwork interventions are effective in alleviating stress and enhancing mental health outcomes. The authors advocate for further research to fully understand the mechanisms involved. (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-022-27247-y) In a randomized controlled trial, researchers compared the effects of different breathwork techniques to mindfulness meditation. The findings revealed that daily practice of breathwork, particularly exhale-focused cyclic sighing, led to significant improvements in mood and reductions in respiratory rate. These benefits were more pronounced than those observed with mindfulness meditation, suggesting breathwork's unique potential in stress management (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9873947/) Further supporting these findings, a systematic review highlighted that slow breathing
techniques enhance interactions between autonomic, cerebral, and psychological flexibility. This interplay is associated with increased parasympathetic activity, improved emotional control, and overall psychological well-being. (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6137615/) Additionally, research indicates that daily deep breathing exercises can lower blood pressure and reduce stress in adults. The simplicity and accessibility of these exercises make them a practical intervention for improving cardiovascular health and managing stress in various settings, including the workplace. (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9877284/) A growing body of scientific literature underscores the positive impact of breathwork on mental and physical health. Incorporating regular breathwork practices can serve as a valuable tool for
enhancing well-being and managing stress. In an era where stress and anxiety have become common struggles, breathwork provides a simple yet powerful way to restore balance. It is an accessible, research-supported method that helps individuals improve mental clarity, emotional resilience, and physical health. Whether used as a daily practice for grounding or as a means to navigate more profound emotional challenges, breathwork empowers individuals to take charge of their well-being. By incorporating intentional breathing techniques into everyday life, people can cultivate greater inner peace, reduce overwhelm, and build a sustainable foundation for long-term health and vitality.
